Terms & Conditions....

(We do not accept single sex groups or mixed groups, anyone trying to book in separately but is part of a group will be turned away without a refund)

Deposit:

A none refundable deposit of 1 night per person is required for all bookings. This is non-refundable.

Cancellation:

Your reservation is made with The Westdean and represents a legally binding contract between you and the guest accommodation. For bookings of 2 rooms or more or 2 nights or more, we require a minimum of 21 days notice of cancellation or amendment of any reservation to avoid a cancellation charge of at least 50%
of the total value of the reservation as detailed in the confirmation letter/ email. We require a valid credit card to secure bookings and reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales, as detailed above. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges
to the card without any additional consent being required.

Special dietary requirements:

Meal times are prearranged and no allowance can be made for meals not taken. We regret that we are not able to accommodate any person(s) with a serious or life threatening nut or food allergy, as we can not guarantee the provenance of every item of food in our kitchen. We are happy to cater for any other dietary needs, such as gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan diets, but please tell us at the time of booking.

Rooms:

Rooms must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.

Personal Belongings:

The proprietors cannot accept responsability for loss of guests property unless handed in for safe custody.

Booking Payment:

Accounts must be paid in full upon arrival.

Damage:

We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to the Westdean itself, damage either wilfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. In this event your credit card will be charged without prior consent being required against invoice(s) that will be provided for the cost incurred.

Smoking:

All rooms are non-smoking, any rooms tainted by residual tobacco odours will be specially cleaned and aired over a 24 hour period , it is an offence to set off the smoke alarms, if this happens then the cost of the call out fee to have the panel and alarms reset and all charges resulting from this , both actual and loss of business ( at prevailing B & B rates) will be charged to the credit card given to secure the booking.

Contract:

The Proprietor reserves the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part to the contract cause any detriment to the well being or comfort of other guests.
